This video demonstrates the importance of exercise selection when retraining your body to get out of back pain.
Four important variables when retraining your body:
1. Correct exercises/correct muscles
2. Correct execution
3. Correct time frame
4. Correct intensity
If you choose the wrong exercises, it can make your back pain much worse. If you did an academic study of exercises for back pain, you would need to make sure the correct exercises are being chosen to actually create balance. Otherwise, it will appear that exercises to improve muscle balance may have no clear effect (since you were making some people better and some people worse).
