
Christopher F. Julien (he/they) is a climate philosopher based in Zaandam, the Netherlands.
His PhD at Utrecht University bridges philosophy of science and political ecology, developing a field of ecological governance in times of collapse.
He works on cultural and ecological projects, with experience as a strategist, research director and concept developer.
Julien wrote Alledaags activisme (2024) and is now in the midst of a new book on ecopopulism (De Geus). He advises cultural institutions, is a long-time spokesperson for XR NL and holds cum laude masters degrees in Conflict Studies & Human Rights and in Cultural Analysis.
